المستخلص

This paper is an attempt to re-explore the interaction of poetic and religious discourses. The relationship between the two spheres has been a subject of many studies by many renowned scholars west and east. This paper attempts to read this reciprocal relationship, characterized by a great deal of caution and dread. The researcher tries to support his argument by examples of poets who encroached upon the domain of religion, and how religion, through history, used the poetic appeal to catch the attention of the reader, and possess his awareness.
